Panama Canal Cruising

"The land of the divided, the world united." It's hard to imagine a more fitting motto for what in no uncertain terms irrevocably changed the Western Hemisphere forever. For fifty miles the canal transects the exotic emerald jungles of Panama and gives one an appreciation of what a Herculean task it was to build this waterway before the advent of computers and giant earth movers.

Colon, Panama

Panama's second-largest city lies at the eastern end of the Panama Canal. The canal itself is an engineering feat on par with the Pyramids of Egypt; it revolutionized travel and commerce. The other wonder was created from the canal's construction: you'll find the world's largest man-made lake lying just beyond the Gatun locks.

DINING FOR OUR GROUP

We chose the early dining 6PM for everyone so we can eat dinner together (all that wish to), then on to the entertainment.  If you eat lightly, and want to eat more later... the buffet is open as well as several other restaurants.  There is food almost all the time in multiple places on shipboard.

What's Included in Your Cruise?

Almost everything is taken care of on this cruise ship with the original payment. Your stateroom accommodations, fantastic meals in the restaurants or cafés, snacks throughout the day, and even 24-hour room service is included. Entertainment and most other activities are part of your fare.

The daily newsletter is your daily schedule of ship activities and entertainment events. It's also your guide to shipboard services with hours of operation. It is delivered nightly to your stateroom. Keep it close at hand, so you'll always know what's happening and where.

On the other hand, you may want to spend every day in a deck chair reading a book from the onboard Library or just sitting in a deck chair, watching the world go by.
